Carmel is back with some new and exceptional musicians creating a new groove for her latest album.  The album came to life whilst on a short tour to Belgium in November 2018. The tour was organised by the late Jim Crawley and was very highly received and left the audience wanting “more, more, more”.  Carmel has been working with long – term friend and musician Jim Paris creating new lines, grooves as well as some revised tunes. “I’ve been collaborating with Jim, putting together new ideas and compositions. The love for songwriting and performing the shows again have let me share with the world what we have achieved. Now the new and classic material has a different context in a modern light”

The line-up for the Live work will include the great John Ellis on Keyboards. He is widely regarded as the Hidden Gem in terms of his extraordinary musicianship his and production skills.
The new Album will be recorded at John Ellis’ Limefield Studio in Middleton Manchester. It’s an honour to be writing new tracks with him.

Bass Player Gaston Johnson has joined the band and brings his great energy and deft skills to the grooves...What a joy he is to work with!

Simon Moore- On kit and vocals. He has been a long time member of the Carmel troop - In the UK Simon is rated as number one Gospel Drummer. His passion for music keeps everyone on their toes!

Ella Bridge - vocals and percussion
Ella’s beautiful Gospel Range makes her one of the greatest in the Northwest- it’s our privilege to have her perform with the band. She is Grace and Beauty personified!

Thomas Dibb - Guitar and vocals
We are so lucky to be working with Tom who has his own country band and hails from Rotherham. He has that rare ability to create an easy feel to arrangements- fearless!!

Ed Kainyek- Saxophonist has joined the line-up and it’s a thrill to be working with such a great Jazz Player whose improvisation and composition skills bring new ideas to life such as the renditioning of Naima by John Coltrane.

We are all really excited to be making music together and even more so to be sharing it with you all. All of your contributions will be used solely for the recording and production of the music, we hope you enjoy and look for to the big release!
