Kodie Brown was the youngest victim of a domestic violence dispute that tragically ended her mom's life before her eyes. Kodie was caught in the middle of this dispute at the hand's of her father, the perpetrator of this heinous crime. As a result, Kodie has been left without her lifeline, her mother, Selina Brown along with near life threatening injuries of her own.

Fortunately, Kodie is a fighter, and her healing has been slow but steady. There have been some set backs, but she is fairing well under the circumstances. She suffers from a number of emotional traumas that make it impossible for her to be left alone in addition to the continued battle of her physical recovery.

The injuries that Kodie has sustained will require at least 4 surgeries in the near future, and there will be more surgeries as time progresses. There are critical times that make it difficult for Kodie's healing due to infections, yet we are very hopeful that she will continue to overcome the obstacles.

Research has led us to find the best doctors to accommodate her injuries to recovery. These team of doctors are located in Hollywood, CA. We are waging a campaign and plea for support in the form of donations for Kodie to get these team of doctors to start her surgeries.

The shooting occured Dec 9, 2012 at a bus stop in southeast, while in her mother's arms listening to her parents argue, when her father put out a gun and openfire killing her mother and then fled to n.y and killed himself.
