Valley Fire Animal Victims Support

Due to the devestating Valley Fire in Lake and surrounding counties there are thousands of animals that have been displaced. Local shelters are crowded with animals of all kinds and are in need of support.
In response Santa Rosa and Sebastopol Community Market have set up this gofundme page to help raise funds to donate to local shelters.
These shelters will be housing lost animals who need to be reunited with thier families, boarding animals that have lost thier homes, sheltering surrended animals, etc.
Shelters need money for food, vacinations, vet visits and medical supplies and fostering animals. The shelters closest to the fires are at capacity and animals are being taken to shelters all over Sonoma County and surrounding areas.
Displaced animals are not limited to just cats and dogs,
there are horses, chickens, pigs, goats, cows, rabbits, etc that are in need as well.
There are lots of donation resources set up for human victims but often animal shelters and rescue organizations get overlooked in a crisis such as this. All money raised will go directly to shelters that are in the most need. Please consider donating to help our animal friends.
We have a few shelters in mind and will donate as needed to various organizations but are open to suggestions as well, if you know of a direct need please feel free to share it with us. There is alot of direct need for animal food at the human shelters as well such as the Moose Lodge.
