Rubies Special Needs Cheer Team

You've reached the landing page for the non-profit Rubies Special Needs Cheer team, training out of PowerKids Center in Palm Desert, CA. This is the team that Zoey Ebersole, the Coachella Valley 8 year-old-activist with Muscular Dystrophy, competed for before she passed away unexpectedly in September of 2017. Mother Laura said that competing for the Rubies Team was one of the most special things in Zoey's life, and when presented with donations for the family, asked that they be given to Zoey's favorite team instead. She dreams of a day that the team may have a handicapped equipped van to be able to transport the team to competitions.
