Crushing Cancer With Your Help

Donation protected
On March 9th, 2015 I started my battle with stage 3c ovarian cancer. I have continued to receive treatment on and off. May 2017 I decided to take a break from chemo as my scans were not showing anything of great concern and this would allow me the opportunity to address a hip problem. July 21, 2017 I had a full left hip replacement done due to having Avascular necrosis of the hip bone. The healing process hasn’t been easy but it’s been manageable. I have spent over 106 days in the hospital and have had 13 surgeries done to date. I have had over 30 rounds of chemo and the fight is not over yet. Each day i continue to battle the side effects from my cancer. I have been unable to work and I am consider permanently disabled at this point. This has been the biggest challenge being 33 and accepting that your life is different. I am beyond blessed to have the support that I have in my life. With out my family, friends, medical team and endless army standing behind me I wouldn't be here today.

On September 26th, 2017 after having a cat scan done the previous week I found out the monster has returned. Not that I was ever declared in remission before but the last scan at least showed no evidence of growth. The new scan clearly shows growth. Although it is still small it’s growing. I was left with a. Few options but the most logical to me is to not wait and start fighting again. So once again I will resume chemo in a few weeks this will be my 6th time starting a chemo regiment and I’ll be going back to a drug that started on. We are going to try some carboplatin again. Which we will closely manage and watch my kidneys as this drug previous caused my kidneys to shut down.
With out a doubt when its all said and done they will write about me in the medical books. My drive to live and fight is bigger then me. I wont quit and I wont be stopped. The doctor has stated numerous times that remission is no longer the goal as it would take a new drug to make that happen. Instead I’m looking at years of on and off chemo and have already had over two and half. This isn’t a good enough answer or way of life for me so I’m not only going to fight this with chemo I am
Going to fight harder then ever with alternative medicine. I have my doctors blessing when it comes to using marijuana and as much as I want. Often people ask how they can help and sometimes I lack the answer. However, please note that cancer is really expensive. It’s just not that cancer is expensive it’s that everything needed to help me fight and live cost money. Sometimes none of which is cover by insurance. As medical marijuana patient it has been the best medicine for me. However I need more quality meds and a solid strain to flood my system of thc and cbd. This will not be cheap and is something I have to ask for help with. The money raised here will allow for me to get some quality cbd pills and 60 grams of thc to attack my tumors. This medicine is not medicine my current dispensary is able to provide me with. These meds are a lot stronger and higher level of
quality testing. So when someone ask how they can help I hope you take this page in to consideration. As always if someone is unable to donate please reshare. Share a story or a memory about me and think and send good vibes.
