Nova showed up in my yard eating food set out for my local colony cats on October 11, 2018
I thought he was a female tuxedo named Lilly gone missing from my neighbors home last year. So when I saw him again a week later I picked him up, put him in a pet carrier, and held him in our guest bathroom to return to his owner. After verifying his gender and confirming he was not Lilly I set out to find his owner.
After posting 'Found Cat' info to multiple FB groups, Nextdoor, Pawboost, and tabbytracker.com I printed and handed out 100 posters in my neighborhood.
I was contacted on 11/26/2018 by his last owner (second). Nova had fought with the other cat in the home and had either run away to (or been dumped by the property manager into) my neighborhood two miles away. His previous owner (first) had kicked him out for urinating in the home.
Nova deserves basic health services and a loving forever home. Please donate and share.
