Drea's PHight to Breathe

30 years ago Drea beat cancer, to the surprise of all of her doctors and the relief of her family.   Today, as a result of the treatments used to save her life, she is up against a new battle - one for each breath she takes.  The multiple rounds of chemo and radiation caused so much damage to her tiny heart and lungs that over time resulted in the life-threatening disease called Pulmonary Hypertension.

Drea has had to resign from a career that she loved in order to have enough energy to spend quality time with her family and reduce the strain on her, very damaged ("asshole") lungs.  Now that she is no longer working she has been trying to do and see as much as possible with her son, husband, family and many, many close friends.

We are reaching out to ask for help to cover some of her mounting medical bills for ongoing treatments and research as well as a new oxygen machine that is approved by the FFA for air travel, is small enough for Drea to carry by herself and does not require the scheduling and trasport of a large (taller than her) oxygen tank.

Please help us support one of the most supportive, caring and feisty people on this planet!

A link to Drea's blog about her journey is provided below, please feel free to check out and/or follow along:
