Lexington Natives Relief Efforts

My parents are from Lexington,Kentucky. They moved to St.Thomas VI in June 2017. This was after a '10 year plan' to live out their dream . They worked very hard to do this, and finally their dream became a reality. Until IRMA hit. The island has been devastated. My parents and other locals have been working to clear roads, some families have been trapped in their houses for two days now. Instead of trying to find the quickest way to get home, they want to help these people. Who have lost everything. This island that they have grown to love so much. They are quickly running out of resources and supplies though . Gas,food, water, chain saw blades , screws/nails of any kind, 2cycle oil, tarps,rope, tire plugs/fix a flat kits, extension cords , power strips, are all needed. If we can get a fund going , or if people would like to directly send me any of these supplies , I will get them to St.Thomas. Right now it is very difficult , but in the coming days we will have a way to get stuff to them. All supplies will be used to help not only my parents, but also many families that are in need. Any help is so very appreciated.
