I would have died, y'all... As you may know, Harvey hit my sweet home, Houston, HARD. Now, I'm going to share with you something you may not know. Non-planned but thankfully. I got picked up Saturday night to go watch the Mayweather vs. McGregor fight. After that I decided to not go back home due to all the rain, tornado warnings, and flooding. It wasn't safe. Fortunately, I got stuck at my best friend's house safe and dry through out the storm due to that. Not-So-Fortunately, yesterday night, 8/30, I was finally able to go back home to find that I have lost my home, my car, and belongings in the flooding. My bed, my clothes, my furniture, shoes, catheters, medication, documents, food, everything, eve-ry-thing, is done for and I have no renter's insurance... The fight saved my life! Just kidding, God did. He knew I wouldn't have been able to swim very far If I would have stayed in and for that I am grateful. I am still alive which is why in the middle of this very unfortunate situation I still feel optimistic and blessed. I may have lost everything, I may have to start from scratch but with hard work and your support I know I can over come this. With a knot in my throat, as I type this, I want to let you know that anything you donate, no matter the amount, will be GREATLY appreciated!I love you and may God bless you, Maria Corea
