Surgery for Bailey

Our precious Bailey has injured his spine after jumping onto the couch for cuddles as he always does. He is on two different medications to manage the pain. Due to his injured spine, he can no longer walk on his back legs or support his own weight. He is now on strict bed rest. He has to stay in bed and have at least three physio sessions a day in an attempt to prevent further damage and to keep his hind leg joints moving and his muscles working.
Bailey needs to URGENTLY be reffured to an animal hospital that has the facilities to perform MRI and CT scans to pin point where the injury is and operate on him to fix the problem. This does not come cheep. The funds we raise will be used to pay for scans, medications and the operation that he so desperatly needs and the transport to get him there.
Bailey means the world to me and my mum and has been through so much to even arrive to his forever home in the North East Lincolnshire area, all the way from Romania as he is a rescue dog and spent his first four months of life trying to survive, foraging for food and trying to find shelter. When we first saw his picture through charitable people traveling to and from Romania to rescue strays, we instantly fell in love and had him brought over to the UK to give him the forever home and the love that he deserves.
Please, please help us to raise the funds by donating as much or as little as you can afford as every penny is crucial for him to live a happy and healthy life. Advice from our current vets is very promising for a full recovery but sadly they don’t do the type of surgery he needs but can make the referral necessary to aid his recovery.
We have never given up on him so far and we don’t intend to now! We will be forever great full for all donations made to help us get Bailey back to his playful cheeky self!
