The Matthew 25:35 Fundraiser

My name is Jajuan Robinson. My wife, Misty and have a special place in our heart for the homeless and poor. The reason is two-fold: We wish to follow the teachings of Christ, which requires his followers to care for the needy and because we experienced homelesness first-hand! Not just in the sense that we had no place to go but that we saw, through others, the various stories of being homeless. We ate, drank and slept in the same shelters as those with drug addiction, alcoholism, sexual abuse and many other physical, mental and spiritual problems. One man we remember lost his wife of many years and was so broken he ended up on the street! We have began to go into the trenches of the city we live in and feed the less fortunate. Instead of volunteering with a soup kitchen or working out of a Church building, we wish to be more personal as Christ was. To eat and drink with our brothers and sisters in humanity where they are! With about $30 we fed 20 people! This task however is much too big for any one group or orginization! We humbly ask you to donate WHATEVER you can so we as followers of Christ can tackle this problem together! If you are not Christian then surely feeding the hungry is a noble cause anyway! We do not wish to alienate any group from helping!
