Amazon Survival Video

After the huge reponse to the Island Survival video I created with Matt, I really would love to keep it going--making videos on survival that no one else out there is making and showing in easy to understand formats.  I have been studying and teaching survival for 20 years.  I also hold a Masters working with various remote indigenous tribes throught the world.  In my opinion these people are the true survivalist and its time we reward them for preserving their ancestral knowledge.

In this first video I plan to travel back into the Amazon and travel with a group of Huaorani hunter/gatherers that I have known since my time researching human rights in the area.  We will demonstrate shelters of the jungle, fire making techniques and the best materials for fire in the jungle, trapping, water purification, medicinal and edible plants, primitive fishing, pottery, basket weaving,  hunting with a spear and blow-gun.   The goal of the video will stay focused on showing you how we survive while in the amazon.  It will be jam packed with survival skills and adventure--these guys are incredible at what they do. 

While I love making these videos, doing a video like this is not cheap.  Costs incurred will be flight/travel, some food, canoe fairs, lodging and paying the Huaorani guides.  It will be amazing for me and hopefully for a few bucks will be more than you would ever learn at a Jungle Survival class costing a thousand dollars.  Im more than happy to keep these videos coming if you can help fund the trips.  After this we'll have the Congo and North East USA.
