Please Help Me Save My Home

As I write this, I am two weeks away from losing my home.
My property was severely damaged in the May 2010 Nashville floods. A year later, an equity line of $50,000 was taken out to rebuild the house. In early September of 2011, a couple of weeks after we moved into the completed house, my mother passed away and I began caring for my elderly stepfather, who suffers from a stroke-related brain injury and cannot be left alone. As a result, I have been unable to work outside the home for the last two years and am behind about $2000 on the loan payments. Unfortunately, the bank has refused to rework the loan and is demanding the entire amount be paid immediately. The property is valued at about $170,000 and is now in foreclosure over a $52,000 debt, with a sale date of Sept. 19th.
I applied for a Reverse Mortgage, which would have allowed me to access my equity and pay off the loan, but an IRS lien disqualified me. (This lien is being resolved through an Offer In Compromise, but is still several months away from completion.) The IRS lien also prevented me from taking advantage of available foreclosure prevention programs I would otherwise had qualified for.
My step-father's health has been steadily deteriorating, so I am in the process of getting him moved into an assisted-living facility, where he will get a higher level of care. This will also free me up to get back to work.
I have set a goal of $65,000, which will provide enough money to pay off the bank and stop the foreclosure, cover GoFundMe's fees to use this site, and allow me a little bit extra for a few months' living expenses while I bring my finances back into balance. I'm grateful that my immediate work opportunities are music-related, a field that has been dear to me for most of my life. I've missed it and am looking forward to immersing myself in it again. It's been too long.
It is very humbling to be in this position and to have to ask for help in this way. But sometimes God has lessons for you that can only be learned at the bottom. I am extremely grateful that you thought enough of me to take the time to read this, and any amount you are able to contribute to this goal is tremendously appreciated.
