Rest Easy Michael Fitzgerald

Donation protected
Michael Aaron Fitzgerald was a soldier, son, grandson, and brother. Growing up he loved to surf, tease his sister, skateboard, and hang with childhood friends in the front yard. Micheal always managed to make anyone laugh or start a conversation with strangers. His outgoing personality made him many friends from here to Egypt, with his deployment in the Army. Like many of our soldiers Micheal developed PTSD. He served our country for 5 years, when it just became too much and he decided to come home to be with his dad Steve. Unfortunately, because of his trauma in the military, addiction grabbed ahold of Micheal. This disease destroys the heart of loved ones and creates demons for its prey. On July 27th 2017, Micheal was killed in a shoot out with police, leaving behind his dad Steve, sister Danielle, and sister Kasey. With this casualty, Micheal and Danielle's childhood home was destroyed, owned by their dad known by most as "Pops." The severity of the horrific event will only heal with time. But at this time family and friends we need your help. Michaels father Steve suffered a heart attack last year and conquered open heart surgery, which has left him on disability that will not cover the expenses of this event. The family appreciates all of your condolences and reminds you that any penny helps. Rest easy Micheal, you will be missed.n All donations will be used toward his memorial.
