Flea to Freedom 2/23/16

Time for the next Flea to Freedom Transport, and the first one for 2016! Augusta Dog Adoptions has formed a wonderful partnership with a No-Kill shelter in Pennsylvania. We  had the opportunity to transfer 95 dogs in 2015 can't believe the results! Hounds, beagles, mixed breeds, and puppies now have the chance at finding a forever home in record time. Often, dogs that are over looked with our organization are adopted within weeks, even days once arriving in PA! We've been able to assist dogs in over five open admission VA shelters that would have lost their life if not for this program. Our next scheduled trip is 2/23/15 with the hopes of sending 14 lucky dogs.

Estimated costs of each trip: 
Fuel-$100
Health Certificates-$350 ($25 each. Each dog crossing state lines must have a health certificate from a veterinarian)
Dewormer-$100
Parvo Tests: $150
Total: $700

In 2015, Augusta Dog Adoptions saved 410 homeless dogs!  We are an all volunteer, 501c3 charity that has no paid staff. We rely on the kindness of foster homes and exist soely on donations.
