Hi Friends,
This is Lily a 10-week old miniature dachshund puppy that I got for my sister. She is super cute and very sweet. Unfortunately my sister only got to enjoy her for 3 days before Lily became very sick and had several diagnostic tests before determining she had pneumonia and an enlarged heart. She had to spend 2 nights in the hospital in an incubator with IV's and oxygen. She was super scared in there since she just left her momma a week earlier. This has been very traumatic for her and my sister who had no idea that owning a puppy would cost her over $2,000 in vet bills the first week. She is now so attached to the puppy that she does not want to return her. To see the happiness and joy this little pup has brought to her life is a joy to watch but the thought that I saddled her with all this debt that she can't afford now breaks my heart.
