Maggie's family Relief Fund

After the destructive path of hurricane Maria through Puerto Rico, I cannot just watch my beautiful island suffer such devastation and do nothing. I watched in the news a house with the word “HELP” written in the roof and I identified it as my cousin’s house! I don’t have words to explain how I felt! This is a very difficult time for everyone that has family in Puerto Rico. Thankfully, I was relief by the news that my family is safe. San Sebastian, the town where I come from, unfortunately is far and isolated from San Juan. Therefore, is more difficult for them to receive help promptly. They have no electricity, fresh water and limited food supply. The island is expected to be without power for the next 6 months. My beautiful island is completely devastated!

I’m asking for your help, your donation, and your support for our families, friends, and local communities in my hometown of San Sebastian del Pepino. While some aid is reaching parts of the island, we want to ensure our loved ones and dear neighbors can manage through these hard times. Many of them prepared for the short term, but the next few weeks bring a lot of uncertainty.

Anything will make a big difference if we all come together. Please donate what you can! These funds will use for supplies for these victims. The following items are desperately needed and I will deliver them directly to those affected in my community:

-        power inverters

-        Candles

-        Flashlights

-        Solar light

-        Batteries.

-        First Aid supplies

-        Personal Hygiene products

-        Can foods etc.

-        Tarps
