RAISE THE ROOF

The Carroll P. Foster Post #3455, Veterans of Foreign Wars in Anna, IL was instituted on July 31, 1948 and has been a pillar of the community since then.  Last year alone they provided military rites at funerals for over 30 members and nonmembers and donated over $2000.00 to families of deceased members.  They participated in many Flag presentations and promoted patriotism in our local schools, they sponsor needy children and families at Christmas and help those less fortunate throughout the year.  As with all organizations our membership is aging, and so is our building.  We are at the point that we have to put a new roof on the Post Home.  The cost of this roof is over $51,000.00.  We have raised part of the money and have some more fundraisers planned in the months to come, but could use some help.  Any amount large or small would be greatly appreciated.
