Hello, thank you for visiting my page. I am raising money to take my first international trip with my college to study in Ireland next semester, I know, exciting right?! Visiting Ireland and its universities has been in my mind for a long time. Not only is it a beautiful country, but it's rich with heritage and history, and now is my chance to see this first hand! For a long time i have been wanting to travel to a distant country, but i have never had the opportunity or the resources until now!
I couldn't thank you enough for all your help, because frankly, saving that much from my pay check just wouldn't be easy at all!
My education is my number one priority, and i plan to make the best of it. All that i do for my campus and fellow students propels me to be the best i can. I am currently president for Club YESS at College of the Sequoias, which focuses on improving the educational experience of former foster youth embracing higher education, and encourages those currently a ward of the courts. I have also been an advocate for foster youth, participating in CYC (California Youth Connections) which motivated me further to help those less fortunate than we are.
