Help Ironman Steve Ross Get Home!
Donation protected
Steve Ross is an incredible friend, athlete, competitor, husband...the list goes on and on.
On September 27th at Ironman Chattanooga, Steve was involved in a bike accident when a tow truck -- towing a car! -- was mistakenly allowed to pass across the bicycle course. Racing at 23 mph, Steve was unable to avoid crashing.
As a result of the crash, he had a hemothorax which they fixed. His spleen was bleeding which they stopped and he will need to have his ribs plated which will happen later this week.
His wife Brenda is with him, but they will need to get back home to Ottawa and both of them are missing work and will need to arrange special travel as well as deal with medical costs as they don't have US Insurance.
Please help Steve and Brenda out, by making a donation to help them transition from Chattanooga back home to Ottawa. Any contribution is welcome.
Thanks in advance for your assistance!
