Dear Friend of Dean Sherman,
We are writing you as someone whose life has been impacted by Dean's teaching on spiritual warfare and relationships. You have been a faithful regular supporter of the Sherman's and they are so grateful for that; as are we. We would like to bring the following to your attention and ask you to consider making a onetime gift. This is not intended in any way to impact your regular support, but would be an additional onetime consideration.
We have been approached by several YWAM leaders to consider helping Dean & Michelle purchase a home, (a condo adjacent to the University of the Nations campus in Kona, Hawaii). This is similar to our efforts for Loren and Darlene Cunningham and Jim and Pam Stier. Our hearts are stirred to engage in an effort to provide a home for the Sherman's. Often base and national leaders have people advocate for them in having a home of their own. We thought endorsing a lifelong teacher was appropriate, especially Dean with his tremendous teaching schedule around the world.
Dean was overwhelmed that someone would do this on their own initiative. He has given permission to contact followers on FaceBook and other individuals.
Therefore, the YWAM base in Tyler Texas is establishing a fund especially earmarked for the purchase of a home for the Sherman's. Gifts can be sent to YWAM-Tyler, P O Box 3000, Garden Valley, Texas 75771
. Please leave the memo line blank on the check, but include a separate note indicating the check is for the Sherman home purchase. These gifts are tax deductible for the IRS when made this way.
If a tax receipt is not necessary, a check made payable to Dean &/or Michelle Sherman can be sent to them at PO Box 390478 Keauhou, HI 96739
. Please include a note or letter with your gift indicating it is a gift to them to enable purchase of a home for them. This will eliminate their need to pay tax on the gift.
The Sherman's just signed a contract to purchase a 3 bedroom condo from a wonderful couple that has given them an extended time to close the purchase allowing all of us to prayerfully participate. The condo is fully furnished and priced at a reasonable comparable amount in Kona.
Would you prayerfully consider joining us in providing a permanent home for the Sherman's? All deposits will go directly to the purchase of the condo.
