Sally Berry needs your help

Sally Berry is a foxhound mix that I have been raising since she was 6 weeks old. Back in October of 2012, my neighbor found Sally on the side of a highway and decided to give her to me as a gift. She is now almost one year old, and she absolutely loves people and other dogs (and playing around like a nut!). She is truly a sweetheart. Unfortunately, Sally has been having a rough time this month. On Aug 3 her string of bad luck began with her vomiting up her meals. After a few days of observation I took her to the vet (Aug 8) where Xrays and blood work were done. All results were normal and absolutely nothing showed up in the Xrays. Sally was put on a prescription canned food diet. (Total cost of appointment = $350). By Aug 16 Sally was still vomiting her meals and had lost a very noticeable amount of weight. She also had not been pooping as there was nothing in her body to excrete due to the vomiting. On the 16th I took Sally to another vet for a 2nd opinion. This vet did a Barium test that showed Sally definitely had a blockage that was not allowing food to exit her stomach. Emergency exploratory surgery was done by which a pyloric stricture (fatty tumor) was found in Sally's stomach near the pyloric sphincter, thus blocking food from exiting her stomach and entering her small intestine. This is why she was vomiting up everything she ate. The tumor was removed (and is still in the process of being analyzed). (Cost of surgery = $3500). Sally was discharged Aug 19 and we thought she was on the road to recovery... until last night (Aug 21) when she rolled over and, apart from the unusual swelling and redness of the incision, I discovered a lesion forming on her chest approximately three inches from her surgical incision. The lesion is about 2-3 inches in diameter. Sally is currently at the vet awaiting a diagnosis for this lesion. The vet will also be taking a look at her incision as it may not be healing properly.

Sally Berry and I would really appreciate any and all donations to help us through this. I certainly was not prepared for an unexpected expense of this size, and the vet will not work with us on any kind of reasonable payment plan. Thank you!
