400-mile cycle/skate for orphans!

Donation protected

Dear Friends,

Back in 2010, Steven Feigenbaum and Dan Bowen created In Motion For a Million in order to raise money and awareness for worthy causes. Over the course of 83 days, these two good buddies skated ocean-to-ocean across America (2,917 miles / 4,694 KMs), collecting more than $10,000 in donations for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Huntington's Disease Society of America.

Fast-forward to 2017......

......it's time for another coast-to-coast trek, this time across beautiful South Korea!  The IMFM-Korea team has 4 dedicated athletes (1 skater, 3 cyclists) who are all working as teachers/professors in Korea! ***L to R: Yeri from Daejeon, South Korea ; Tasha from Nebraska, USA ; Cheymus from British Columbia, Canada ; Steven from New Jersey, USA.***

The 4 athletes are skating/cycling to raise money for educational programs at Sung Sim Won Orphanage, located in the city of Daejeon (central South Korea). Sung Sim Won was established in the 1950s. Its original purpose was to provide shelter for children during the Korean War, and the orphanage continues to operate to the present day. During IMFM's visits to Sung Sim Won, we were all moved and inspired by the ability of the children to find joy even in their difficult circumstances.

Our journey is scheduled for September 30th to October 6th......we will be trekking 400+ miles (600+ KMs). ***Here is our route (PINK/BLUE/BROWN/GREEN).***

We would like to ask for your generous help in support of Sung Sim Won Orphanage. As you can imagine, living in an orphanage is certainly not easy. Your donation will bring a ray of sunshine into the lives of these wonderful children, in the form of educational programs and opportunities. 100% of your donation will go to the orphanage, and of course, no donation is too big or too small!

How much will you donate today?***IMFM-Korea cyclist Cheymus with two children from Sung Sim Won Orphanage in Daejeon, South Korea.***
