This is our first fundraiser in 40 years.

Do you have some great memories of spending warm summer days at Meads Pool in Elizabeth City, NC? Did you, your children, or grandkids learn to swim there? Maybe you loved the night swims in the 80's and 90's. Maybe you remember your first jump off the high dive into the world's only known roller skate shaped pool.
What an asset Meads Pool has been to our community for the last 40 years. From children 6 months old to adults over 80 years old, thousands of people from our community and outlying areas have learned to swim through our swimming lesson program. Each year 1000's of area residents enjoy this wonderful pool. In addition to the regular pool use, the pool has provided our community opportunities for swimming lessons, aqua zumba, birthday parties, and of course daily swimming.
After forty years Meads Pool is still going strong, but it needs your support. There are many needed repairs to keep the pool open and beautiful.
We have established an Anniversary Campaign called “$40,000 for 40 Years” to raise $40,000 to cover necessary repairs and improvements to the pool.
If you value the happy memories you were able to have at the pool, either as a swim lesson student, part of the pool staff or one of the tens of thousands of smiling patrons over the years, please consider supporting the pool financially. We are accepting donations no matter the size so that future generations in Pasquotank County and the surrounding area have a chance to make wonderful memories too!
