Karens Medical fund

Please! Family, friends, and union brothers & sisters
We are raising funds for one of my closest friends, Karen, who I have known for more than 25 years. She has always been a happy and thoughtful person, full of life and adventure. Karen and her husband wanted to move out of the state for a while and finally when the opportunity presented itself they took it. During the long awaited move, she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Of course none of this was in their plans for starting fresh in a new state, but now they have no choice but to face this with all they have. Karen's original plan was to transfer unions (HVAC certified) and show off her sweet CT skills. Now she cannot work because of the treatments, which will span over a 10 month period. She has no job provided medical insurance so she will need expensive Cobra insurance to help offset the massive medical costs. Already the copays for treatments, doctor visits, etc are adding up, on top of the regular household bills. We extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation to all for even the smallest donations.
