Last night (1/18/16) our very own sweet sweet Julia Ramsland, who is a member of our Senior level 5 Cheer Team and Power Tumbling Team here are Fire House Gym, was involved in a serious car accident.
Julia is in critical condition.
She has suffered numerous broken bones including both of her legs. She underwent surgery last night to install pins to stabilize her legs.
The biggest concern is Julia's severe head trauma. The swelling in her brain was increasing-her doctors placed a drain in to relieve the pressure and fluid that was building.
She will likely be in the ICU for a while, therefore there is not much we can do at the moment for her and her family. What we can do is show our support and love to the family.
With the many procedures, surgeries, and treatments to come and the absence from work, there will be an overwhelming bill presented to her family. This is a burden we would like to lift off the shoulders of her parents. To do so, we are asking anyone who would like to help, to donate any amount of money they can to the cause.
