Angel Wings Mum Helen Webb along with Angel Wings Baby and Child Loss Support are fundraising for a Cuddle Cot.
Here is Helen's own words....
This is Emily. Born at 26 weeks and 3 days due to a total lack of care at the hospital. She was shipped from the hospital she was born at within 2 hours to the chelsea and westminster.... I said at the time that I didnt think she woild come back. I was too unwell to go with her and had to stay behind. I managed to get to the hospital 5 days later to find she had had a bleed on the brain and had a infection in her stomach that had caused it to rupture. I was told what to expect at that point....
I stayed overnight and didnt leave her side. Thr following afternoon she stopped being able to hold on to my finger. I asked for another brain scan and was told that the bleed had got a lot worse.... 10% - 95% .... I knew what that meant and sadly had to make the decision later that night to withdraw life support........
