Firefighter Training in USA

My name is Dmitriy Polscin. I am a full time firefighter in my home city of Chisinau, Moldova at the Chisinau Central Fire Department Number 2. I have been a firefighter for the past 13 years, and I am dedicated to saving and protecting lives each and every day. In April of 2015, I was very honored and humbled to receive the award of Firefighter of the Year in my home country of Moldova.
I am raising money in order to travel to Indianapolis, USA to attend the FDIC training conference for firefighters. One of the most well known training opportunities for firefighters worldwide, it provides detailed classroom sessions and hands-on workshops for firefighters, first responders, and emergency services. I would like to attend this conference, take as many courses throughout the week as possible, and bring this knowledge back to my fire department to better educate and train my brother firefighters.
The money will be used for my air travel, a VISA application for the United States, my room and board, and registration for the week long conference. I have made an estimate of the costs, but I intend to travel as economically possible, and any left over funds will be donated to special causes.
Attending this conference is very important to me and my fellow firefighters. If I am able to attend this conference, I will be able to bring this knowledge back to Moldova and help better train my brother and sister firefighters to be safer in the line of duty, while better performing our duties to save and protect the lives of others.
