Bone Marrow Transplant

Hello, My name is Murad Onal, I made this page for myself in hopes that people would show their Humanity and Grace upon me. This is My Story. On August 23rd of 2016, the night before college was to start, I had an unexpected Trip to St. Marys Emergency Department due to what I thought was abdominal pain. After a CBC Test was drawn from the phlebotemy labratory, My entire world turned upside down. I was diagnosed with Primary Refractory Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, one of the scariest and dangerous forms of the Leukemias. I was ultimately rushed to St. Christophers Childrens Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. After recieving several chemotherapies my body fluctuated to 300 pounds worth of Swollen Liquid in their ICU. Unfortunately I slipped into a Delirium like comatose state. I have lost my permanent long-term memory because of that event & I almost Passed away. Eventually, I found out that My Bone Marrow was Damaged enough to the point where I must require a Bone Marrow transplant. I was transferred to CHOP to undergo roughly 7 Months of Intense Severely debilitating Chemotherapy before a New Immunotherapy put me in my Remission state. Yet, it has taken it's toll on my family. My mother is unemployed & we dont have health insurance, I am disabled due to Low ANC counts for the next year or two, My family is not doing well either, It's true Cancer is a family disease, as we have all gone through Hell. My social worker has been unreliant and somehow the medicaid dept cancelled my current secondary insurance. I don't know how my family line will climb out of all this debt due to something None of us had control over, I don't know how I may be able to afford my Life saving bone Stem Cell Marrow Transplant.
