Peytons Medical Travel

Peyton Minor is a 10 month old little girl diagnosed with type 1 SMA. She has been admitted into the hospital 3 times for pneumonia and 6 times for a collapsed lung. She was admitted for this current hospital stay 2 weeks ago, where she has went into respiratory arrest twice. Vanderbilt has done all they are equipped to for her and she has failed their extubation attempts twice. I branched out to a specialist who has studied Neuromuscular Disorders for 40+ years. Dr John Bach from New Jersey knows how to properly care for her without her having a tracheostomy. I've been working with him closely on Peyton's case. We found an airline that is willing to take her to New Jersey, but our insurance is not willing to pay anything for our hospital stay. They made us sign a form saying we had to pay a deposit before arriving. On top of that, we will be responsible for the hospital stay which will be well over 65,000. Any donation can and will help! We are doing everything we can for our sweet girl.
