Diagnosis

Hello everyone, I have decided to set up a go fund me page. I hope you could spare me a moment to listen briefly to my story

I suffer from a couple of chronic chronic conditions such as

- Elhers Danlos syndrome (which effects my heart & bladder)

- Polycystic Ovarian syndrome

- Vasovagual syncope

-Insulin resistance

I currently have a complex intersphincteric fistula which I have currently had 6 surgeries on. Fistulas are very uncommon in people who don’t have inflammatory bowel disease (Crohns or ulcerative colitis)




I have been hospitalised a lot over the last month, unfortunately the NHS haven’t been very good to me. I feel let down and have been thrown from pillar to post still yet without a diagnosis of IBD.

I was told I had a slight blockage in my bowel in which I was close to having surgery for, but due to the complexity of my fistula, they didn’t want to touch me. Instead, I was sent away taking a ridiculous amount of laxatives to help clear the blockage.. which as you can imagine hasn’t been pleasant.




I am at week 9 of constant bleeding, chronic pain, headaches, bloating, palpations, fatigue & many more complications.. not forgetting the psychological damage this has left me with.

am asking for slight financial help, I’m off sick from work at the moment and my mother is recovering from major back surgery and also isn’t working.

I’m looking to raise anything to help pay for me to see a private specialist & to get the help I need or hopefully put into the right direction. I hate asking for money, makes me feel like a fool! Any money that is left over I will be donating to the Crohns and Colitis charity.

A gentle reminder, although someone looks ok on the outside, isn’t to say they’re not suffering on the inside. Not all disabilities are visible ❤️
