DYLLAN'S WISH

We at #TeamDyllan have set up this Go Fund Me Page to help raise some money to give Dyllan and his family some peace of mind and 'Happy Time' once Dyllan is feeling stronger Dyllan Smith is only 3 years old and has been battling Leukaemia for the last 18 months, it seemed he was winning the battle until sadly he relapsed over a month ago whilst on active chemo, this itself is very rare and unusual itself in a child, so again he faces his biggest battle yet to beat this awful disease that no child so young should ever have to face once, let alone twice He was currently receiving treatment at Birmingham Children's Hospital where he will be for the forcible future.But, after only 3 short weeks of his first 4 week intensive chemo cycle he took seriously ill with sepsis and is currently in intensive care under sedation after requiring surgery to have his central line removed and a temporary one fitted, whilst he fights this life threatening infection, and sadly all his future treatment has stopped until he has fully recovered from this Mum & Dad are with Dyllan 24/7 at BCH, Dad is travelling to work daily and then to the hospital straight from work to be with his boy Mum is by his bedside continually.There is still a home to pay for, and still bills to pay in the outside world aswell as their living costs in Birmingham too, our fantastic NHS can only take care and feed our poorly kids, but they can't feed the families also, so it's like running two homes at times when you have a long term hospital stay, it's both mentally and physically hard to handle and financially draining and no parent of a long term sick child with no end date in sight should have to have that burden to worry about aswell as the future of their sick child So we at #TeamDyllan are doing are very best to help raise some extra cash to get Dyllan Smith's family through their toughest battle yet, and hopefully give them some 'peace of mind' to be able to fully focus on getting Dyllan through this!
