3rd Annual “Code Blue”: Helping Our Neighbors

It’s the season of giving! Join us in our 3rd Annual Fundraiser to raise awareness and help fight homelessness in our community. 

Code Blue Nights: 
As the winter kicks in remember that some people are less fortunate and do not have a warm place to call home. Trinity Church opens their gym to our community members who have no where to go on cold nights when it is below 25 degrees or 32 degrees and precipitating. 

In addition to Code Blue, The Women’s Hospitality Network is now collaborating with Trinity Church to provide emergency, night time housing from December through March for single women who are experiencing homelessness. This a collaborative effort of houses of worship, organizations and individuals from the greater Asbury Park and Neptune areas and beyond. 

In addition to raising money to help fight hunger and homelessness, Chef Terry, from The Shipwreck Grill, will be sleeping outside on the Eve of Thanksgiving, Wednesday November 27.  As this is his third year doing so, he has personally felt the hardships that the less fortunate people in our community face and deal with on a daily basis. This fundraiser is something he truly feels is of great importance. He has spent time at Trinity feeding the homeless members of our community and strives to combat this issue. 

Homelessness starts at home, but helping starts here. 

Donating to this cause helps Trinity feed and house the unfortunate members of our community.
