Saving Potato

On the early morning of August 6th, 2019 my beloved cat, Potato, was struck by a car. It has resulted to a deep cut on his leg which got infected and sewn up, a dislocated hip and 2 fractures in his pelvis. It has left him completely broken and unable to do anything on his own.  He requires surgery as the tendons are too damaged and if they just pop the hip back in it’ll just come right back out. 
The vet bills have been completely overwhelming. I know I have to do whatever it takes to save him, despite others telling me the best thing to do for myself would be to put him to sleep. Although that wouldn’t break my bank nearly as much as surgery, it would break my heart and leave me more broken then Potato is now.  He’s only around 2 years old and before the accident completely healthy and happy. I need to save my baby. 
This go fund me is a complete act of desperation. Ive gotten a second job to help cover costs but it’s still close to impossible. I’m really not one to ask for help, but I really don’t know what else to do. The $4000 would help pay the first bill of $1181.74 from exams and tests and his surgery bill & post op costs.
