Heidy's FFA Steer Project 2017-2018

Greetings, my name is Heidy and I'm looking forward to raise money towards buying my first steer. As a rising junior, this will be my second year showing an animal and being a part of the FFA program at University High School. I started out showing sheep my sophomore year at the State and Central Florida Fairs. Although showing an animal is not a requirement to be in FFA, I really enjoyed the experience showing a sheep my past year and I'm willing to put further commitment to have the opportunity to show a steer this upcoming year. I understand the amount of effort and responsibilities in raising a steer, however I want to raise the steer without causing my family any unnecessary financial complications. Due to only one parent income I would never be buy a steer on my own without the help of family and friends. The amount needed for me to be able to carry out this amazing opportunity is $1,750.
