3 Peaks Firefighter StairClimb

Hi Everyone! we are on the final stretch to complete the 3 Peaks Stairclimb Challenge. Today, I will have completed 2 of the mountains and on the home stretch to complete the third by November 10th.
Essentially, we are climbing the worlds 3 tallest peaks, Everest, K2 & Kanchenjunga or 26 045 meters since January 1st.
This is roughly 2000 times up our 4 story Cochrane Fire Tower. For myself, I have been climbing in bunker gear and SCBA to add to the challenge.
From today till November 10th we will be accepting non-perishable food items and monies for the Veteran's Food Bank. Donations can be made at the Cochrane Fire Hall, at the Cochrane Legion or the gofundme page.
As part of the campaign, every dollar collected from today till November 10th will make us climb an additional meter up the tower! So $1000 collected is roughly 80 more times up the fire tower. For a pickup full of food we will do an additional 40 more times up the tower!
(Fine Print: we will complete any additional stair climbing by December 31st 2017)
So make us work even harder and get those donations rolling!!!
Lets help out the Calgary Veterans Food Bank to make sure there shelves are stocked!!! Its an easy way to say "Thank you" for their service and assist them in their time of need.
