Teresa's Greatest Journey Yet
Teresa Carmen is one of our little angels here on earth. For those of us that know her know that she has come a very long way since her birth. She has grown into such a beautiful little girl in her 6 years of life. Teresa has overcome obstacle after obstacle. Under the care of many doctors at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, since her birth she has overcome 8 surgeries. She's came out stronger and stronger with each one. Up until this point her surgeries have been semi-minor, they have been bounce back surgeries. We have had our difficulties but Teresa has been absolutely amazing through all. Now we are getting ready for surgery number 9. This will be Teresa Carmen's biggest and most challenging surgery we have had to face. The doctors are preparing to change her appearance to make life a bit easier for her. They are going to take out extra bone from inbetween her eyes and bring her eyes closer together. She will be in the hospital for at least 10 days.
Financially we are not completely able to transition into this journey we are about to endure without some assistance. We hope to get some help from our loved ones and anyone willing to help us provide for ourselves and our other children while Teresa, myself, and her father are away on this incredible endeavor.
