Help Maurice Beat Cancer

Maurice is going to Emory's Winship Cancer Center on May 2nd at 2pm, for a second opinion.

Maurice Tanner is known for giving back to the community as a member of the DeKalb County Fire Rescue Reserves (DCFRR) since 2008, and an active member of the Connect Point Christian Church in Snellville GA since 1968. He has logged many hours as a willing volunteer, teaching citizens disaster preparedness and fire safety, as well as manning the front desk to help out Fire Rescue Staff. As well as working in the media department at Connect Point for over 17 years and their bread ministry for 5 years. Now he finds himself in need of assistance after being diagnosed with advanced stage cancer. His wife is supporting him through his struggle, but she also suffers from significant health issues and is not employed. The cost of determining and instituting Maurice's treatment are more than the couple's finances can bear.
