Eddie needs help with medical bills

I am Eddie's girlfriend, Sheila. We have no health insurance. He is a hard working mechanic who has run his own shop for almost 27 years. We try to eat healthy and take care of ourselves, but he was having bowel issues and I made him go to the doctor. The doctor said he needed a colonoscopy. He had to sell the truck his father left to him to pay for the procedure. During the exam they found a mass in his rectum that needs We tried homeopathy, Eddie was going to give it a month, but after less than 2 weeks, he has quit and wants to proceed toward surgery.  It will be a couple of weeks before we can be seen by both the oncologist and the surgeon.  We have no idea how we will be able to pay for this. Please help in any way you can. I love this man, but I am on Social Security and don't have the resources to help. He has applied for Medicaid, but we have to wait 45 days to know if he has been approved. He basically works to cover the overhead for the shop. I buy our groceries and pay what bills I can, but we are very limited and have no additional money for health insurance. I am putting this in God's hands and praying that posting this will help.
