Insurance To Live

HelloI was diagnosed with cancer in 2011. I had a double mastectomy, chemo, and radiation. My left breast ripped open numerous times cause many more surgerys. In 2014 the cancer returned in my bones. First in the skull. It than began to spread all over to the hips, the sternum, the back, the neck and spread further in the skull. My ovaries had to be removed and I had to start getting injections monthly. I than began an oral form of chemo. On January 27, 2017 I was terminated from my job including my health insurance. I have been forced to go on cobra which is very expensive. I have to have brain surgery on May 10 to help fight the cancer that is spreading. I than had 14 rounds of radiation to my head for the second time to fight the brain cancer. I now have stage 4 breast cancer with mets to bones and brain.

I am at a point where I just feel defeated. I try so hard to stay positive and I'm told all the time how positive and happy I am. A few weeks ago I thought I finally had the insurance figured out. I double checked with all my doctors to see that they would take my new insurance. Friday I received a call saying my oncologist doesn't take it but they are looking to see what to do. Today I was not aloud to get treatment which I need to live. I was also told there was nothing they can do because they don't take that insurance and it was a mistake to tell me they took it, twice. I now have to either pay cobra ($500) by the end of the month or find a new oncologist. So I look up oncologist and only three take this insurance, all of which is over 30 min away, not with any major hospital, and I can't drive due to medical reasons. I know I have been asking for help but I am now begging. I thought everything was taken care of and now this happened. There is so much other stuff going on in my life right now such as my father-in-law being out on hospice. I really need help right now.
