My name is Emerson Piai.
My wife's name is Karen, 32yo, mother of 2 children who are the loves of her life.
07/11/2019 She was diagnosed with grade 1 breast cancer.
She was startled by this news, but in life we have the power of choice. We can be victims or winners. She chose to embrace this journey with confidence and courage.
She wasn't happy with the treatment options that was given to her. She felt like she was looking for my bag in a place where she didn't loose it.
She always made her choices with her heart and this time it couldn't be different.
After many attempts, she found an oncologist, who did she identify herself with and started a provisional and non-invasive treatment until she made a decision.
She knew that she would find a place where she could seek her healing. A place that besides taking care of the wound, would also take care off all the rest of her body, mind, soul and spirit, once she was already fragile.
After a few days of searching, she found a clinic in Mexico that was exactly what she was looking for.
She got in touch with some people who did and are doing the treatment there and after listening to their testimonies she was sure that she made the right choice in listening to my heart and not letting fear guide my decisions.
