John Edison Umana Gordillo

I am creating this gofundme page to humbly request financial assistance for my nephew John Edison Umana Gordillo and his mother, my sister Dayana Gordillo. My nephew had a nervous breakdown in school last week and was hospitalized. He was diagnosed with a serious mental disorder that will require him to stay hospitalized for an undetermined length of time. He is unable to care for himself and needs to be constantly supervised. Once, he is released he will need continued treatment and close care.  My sister (his mother) has been facing so many health issues in the past year and is currently unemployed. I wish with all my heart this wasn't happening to them and my heart is completely broken. Not just because of what's happening but, because I wish I had the financial means to take away anything that would add to this already awful moment in their lives and ours. That is why I am creating this page. Please help me help them! I will forever be grateful! For those of you who don't know my nephew he is an amazing young man. He is super smart, funny, kind, and just a wonderful human being. He has had Asperger’s (a form of autism) all his life and he has faced tremendous challenges that he has managed to overcome. I know in my heart this is just one more of those obstacles that he too will overcome. I want to help him and my sister get there. Please help me raise this money so that my sister can focus on taking care of him and so that she can provide him all the care he needs. Thank you,
