Mama Upendo Children's Trust is a small UK registered charity with an orphanage in Kitui in Kenya,  a feeding programme in the slums of Nairobi as well as outreach programmes for widows etc.

A small group of teenagers and charity representatives is heading out in February 2019to carry out essential work at the orphanage. This costs money and it is imperative that additional funds are raised so we can ensure the orphans have a safe and sanitary place to live and grow without having to use money raised for clothing , food and daily living necessities.

The kitchen is in desperate need of work and safe good storage is essential.  No one in the UK would consider even preparing animal food in the kitchen as it is.

In addition the dormatories need work as at present children are sharing mattresses on the floor and blankets. We have 69 children in our care at present but there are as many again who will help sooner rather than later as parents die from AIDS
