Arianna Paulette Zavala

Arianna Paulette Zavala was born an omphalocele baby, (An omphalocele is a type of abdominal wall defect in which the intestines, liver and occasionally other organs remain outside of the abdomen in a sac because of a defect in the development of the muscles of the abdominal wall) it was said she would be born only 4 lbs, and a very low chance of survival. She was so strong she was born at 37 weeks and weighing 6lbs. Although her first few weeks weren't easy, as time passed by she only got stronger and healthier. Being able to breath on her own, all tubes being taken away from her. Going from a Nicu room with other babies around, having to have a nurse by her side at all times, she got moved to her own room in the Nicu having her own schedule being able to do anything any other baby could! Her organs slowly started going in on their own, and her omphalocele started getting smaller. She was able to be carried, and was able to play in her swing and bouncer all on her own. It was even said she would be going home soon. A couple days after she turned 4 months, she got her vaccinations and a nurse had to give her a sedative shot because she was being fussy because of them. The shot was too strong for her body therefore a couple hours after the medication she made the wrong turn for the worse and her organs started to shut down. 24 hours after that we had to say goodbye to our little angel. We are hoping to raise this money to have the decent viewing and funeral she deserves. Anything would help and is greatly appreciated.
