Pretty In Pink! And Mobile!

Hi! As most of you know, I've been wheelchair-bound due to neurosarcoid since September. The chair I am using now is a loaner, and while I'm grateful for it, it's on its last leg--wheel? There's duct tape holding the sides together, is what I'm saying. After learning that my treatment journey is likely to last 2-3 years, we decided that purchasing my own wheelchair would be the best idea. We started the process last year and the plan was that most of our portion would be covered by my HRA. However, since it took 3 months for it to be approved by insurance, my $4000 worth of MRIs snuck in and wiped out my entire HRA and then some. Therefore, the patient portion will be entirely ours to pay. I've prayed, finagled, and excel spreadsheeted our budget until I can type no longer and the truth of the matter is that we need help. It's the hardest thing for me to do, ask for help, but I know I have people in my life who care for me and want to help when they can. So this is me, asking. This is the estimated patient portion I was given by NuMotion. It's only an estimate, so any money not used for the wheelchair will go towards paying for those pesky MRIs. Being sick is expensive, y'all. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and for caring. I'm a sincerely lucky human being.
