Her life just started to become all she ever could have ask for and more . She was engaged to the love of her life and just had the most beautiful baby boy. She had to struggle with this feeling of fear of the unknown before, but thought it was long behind her. Now, it's back and she has to fight once again.
The cancer is back and this time it is taking its toll. After her surgery to remove her lymph nodes where the cancer was, she developed a terrible infection at the surgery site. This infection has been one of thee worst things Shes experience. It had caused lung problems to were its extremely hard to breath, it has cause heart problems and an irregular heart beat with a pulse of around 120bpm (they have done an EKG, a CT scan, and an X-ray of her chest to figure all that out), it has cause 104 degree fevers with bad body shakes and aches, it has cause bad nausea to where She can only eat Odwalla drinks, water, and the little squeeze packets of baby food. But, she is a strong fighter and with God by her side, she's never giving up or in. This is her fight! Her fight for her family! Her fight to take back her body! Her fight to kick cancers ass!
She has an amazing family and an awesome support team beside her to help. But if you feel moved to give your support to her family please give what you can to her GoFundMe. The financial burdens that have come with Jasmine not being able to work and Grady having to take time off work to be by her side every step of the way and be the strongest daddy I've ever seen for Lakai has become overwhelming.
Days just keep adding up in the hospital with a bunch of scans, X-rays, ecograms, respiratory treatments, ultrasounds, and ultrasound biopsy to drain some fluid. That isn't including all the dozens of medications and antibiotics they do. And ALL the blood draws and what not. I can't even imagine how expensive this bill will be for them and that's only the hospital!! She also has to see the oncologist and cardiologist for her treatments that were originally planned once she is able to leave the hospital. Please join me in the goal to lift at least, this one burden off this beautiful family's shoulders!
