Help us rescue homeless cats in Boston

$455 of $5,000 goal

Raised by 5 people in 37 months
Jacki Lippman   SOMERVILLE, MA
The two cats in this photo were rescued as kittens from the streets of Boston where they were scrounging for food in trashcans.

We are a group of individuals who volunteer our time and money to rescue stray cats and kittens from the streets of . We immediately have them checked over thoroughly by a vet to determine whether they are perfectly healthy or special needs. We then find them an appropriate home. Sometimes we receive a donation from the nice people who adopt these cats. But we always spend far more than we take in - antibiotics, food and litter while we personally care for them until we find them homes.

All of this costs money that we spend from our own wallets. We would love to get some financial help because then we could save more cats. Nobody else cares about all the homeless stray cats in Boston. Please helps us because we DO care.

It is now officially KITTEN SEASON, which means we will be doing our best to save as many kittens from high kill shelters as possible. Please be a voice for spay/neuter. Thousands of kittens don't survive their first month because there just aren't enough homes for them all. Please also spread the word that fostering a mom and litter is FUN!!

God is watching you guys. And I have to think he likes what he sees. I have rescued many strays and spent money I felt stupid spending at first. But then later I was very happy I spent it. Jesus said: what you do to the least of me, you do to all. Keep up the good work.
