Run For The Animals (RFTA)

As many of you know I am a HUGE animal lover! In fact all members of Team Paws Up are rescues. I love giving back to shelters that take in animals that need a new home. The past couple of Aprils I have run a Half Marathon up on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. The proceeds go to the local animal shelter.
Over the past two years my amazing community of friends joined in on my many challenges to help raise money for this cause and this race. And by simply doing what we love to do--run, bike, swim, walk, anything active, we were able to raise awareness and donations to these shelters in need. The end results were huge changes for the shelters that they never thought they would be able to make. And this year I am committed to doing the same for them and more.
In 2015 thru donations, I was able to raise and donate $4375, and in 2016, I was able to raise and donate $5500!!! In 2015, because of our donations, they were able to buy an air conditioner for one of the shelters!! (Can you imagine those poor animals without AC?)
The race is Run For The Animals www.runfortheanimals.com Last year we almost doubled what the race had collected in total the prior year. Let's do it again and help make a difference. A donation of any amount is welcomed and appreciated more than you know. Thank you all again for your help in helping me for a great cause!!
