Riley A Cappella Academy 2017

Hello! My name is Riley Granger, and I'm trying to raise money to attend A Cappella Academy, a program for a cappella music that has continued to change my life for the better ever since I went for the first time two years ago. As a sophomore going into the summer of 2015, I was nervous and insecure in my abilities as a performer and a musician. I knew I was capable, but it took me the whole week to feel confident in my talent, and while the week was spiritually and musically eye-opening, I never felt at home on the stage. Nevertheless I was determined to return for another summer, and after a year of personal growth I was a completely different performer by the time 2016 rolled around. I can now say that A Cappella Academy has been an influence in my decision to pursue a career in music education. If not for the support and encouragement of the staff and the people I have met at camp, I wouldn't be where I am today. They have shown me that choosing a lifetime of music can be as simple as doing what you love. Please consider helping me continue on this path by donating to help get me to camp again!
