Each year thousands of dogs are put down or abandoned... because they have become "too old" or require special attention.
Haven Rescue started as a dream... a dream that is now becoming a reality.
The goal and mission statement of Haven, is to provide permanent fostering / adoption / rescue to senior dogs, special needs dogs, or those high on a kill list at a shelter.
Our aim is to give them a loving home, the freedom and space to run and to truly live a dog's life.
Working as a non-profit, Haven relies on individuals and organizations for sponsorship, but not only that. We will be offering various services to pet owners as well as little retreats for individuals looking to get away from the city for a while. All proceeds from these endeavours will help keep us going!
